Lauren Gailey

Lauren Gailey is a senior associate in Winston & Strawn’s Appellate & Critical Motions practice, resident in the Washington, D.C., office. Her experience includes constitutional and administrative law, patents, torts, and antitrust matters that frequently involve complex jurisdictional and procedural issues. She is involved in all stages of litigation, from formulating strategy to appellate briefing, and she focuses on solving challenging legal problems with creative arguments and persuasive writing.
Before joining Winston, Lauren served as a law clerk to Hon. Thomas M. Hardiman (Third Circuit), Hon. Jeffrey S. Sutton (Sixth Circuit), and Hon. David G. Campbell (District of Arizona). She began her legal career as a member of the Business and Tort Litigation group in Jones Day’s Pittsburgh office.
Prior to law school, Lauren produced a television news-talk show. She is an avid writer and an equally avid reader. Her interests include history, politics, economics, philosophy, psychology, sociology, and organizational behavior.
