Dr. Marsha Brown
Licensed Psychologist and Mental Health Expert
Dr. Marsha D. Brown is a Florida-licensed psychologist and mental health expert with specializations in forensic and clinical psychology. Her career means she is needed and present for intense, critical, and complicated situations. Whether conducting forensic psychological evaluations for family, criminal, and civil court matters, or working clinically as a therapist with those facing crisis and trauma, Dr. Marsha works with people who are struggling and helps them to cope with and overcome challenges.
For eight years, Dr. Marsha served as an adjunct instructor at John Jay College of Criminal Justice in New York City, where she taught courses in psychopathology, clinical assessment, analysis of criminal behavior, and other specialist topics. Today, her teaching focuses exclusively on other professionals.
Dr. Marsha speaks at conferences and venues across the United States and delivers presentations on conquering stress, mental health management, and psychological assessment. Working with the media and community organizations, she speaks and writes about conquering work-related stress. Dr. Marsha has a podcast called “The Self-Care Chronicle,” where she interviews mental health professionals about their own self-care and mental health management.
Dr. Marsha has a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice at the City University of New York. She is listed with the National Register of Health Service Psychologists and has qualified as a mental health expert in Florida state and county courts.
